And the band marches on!

This morning started early. I had told Korri to be here at 8:00 so that there would be enough time to drop Josh off at work then head down to watch the Aggie band practice. I figured traffic would be bad, I just hadn't accounted for how bad traffic was. I was about to turn around and go home but I couldn't exit until we passed the main accident that was slowing us down. Once we passed the finder bender the road was clear so we continued on to the football field. When we first arrived the band was getting ready to setting up to run through the drills again. The boys didn't know what was going on at first but once the band started preforming they enjoyed it. I was amazed at how many moms and kids were there watching. One of the Garland schools had sent their band to watch the practice. During one of the breaks members of the Aggie band came and spoke to the students. It was really a lot of fun it is making me look forward to this summer to watch the DCI show in Denton. There

I remembered!!

Whoo hoo. I remembered Preston had soccer today. Preston started off class doing really well. Then he just stopped wanting to participate. Since Preston wasn't listening we left class early. Ethan's teacher said that he was so well behaved today. I was super excited to hear that news. After naps Preston was pulling things out of the toy box and found a monkey, he was extremely excited about. Before we headed to swimming we decided to try In-N-Out burger. The wait for the drive thru was only thirty minutes. While we were waiting it didn't really seem like it was that long. We couldn't get the boys to eat their burgers but they loved the shake and fries. Our burgers were good, not really sure it was worth a thirty minute wait, but once the lines are at normal drive thru times we will go back. What we are dying to have open it Raising Cane's , apparently there are two opening in Frisco soon. We got to swimming with barely enough time to get everyone dressed an

A little over kill.

If today is any indication Ethan is going to be a soccer super star! Josh is training for his marathon and his group does the long runs on Saturday morning. The distances are getting long enough that he isn't getting back before Preston has to leave for his soccer class. I'm on my own with both boys during soccer again. Today Ethan wanted to participate in Preston's class. When we went to leave Ethan said he felt like he was about to get sick and wanted water. We all headed back in for some water. The owner of the facility stopped me and asked if Ethan would be interested in trying the open house class. Ethan perked right up and wanted to play. After just doing drills for 45 minutes and feeling nauseous I wasn't really sure how he would do. I was shocked that he did so well. He did sit out a couple of games and during the scrimmage he didn't really start participating till the end of the game. Ethan had a blast and I really think it is the next class that he n
