My goodness, I'm tired. This week is kicking my butt. We didn't do anything. Thank you and see you tomorrow. I'm taking a nap.

And the band marches on!

This morning started early. I had told Korri to be here at 8:00 so that there would be enough time to drop Josh off at work then head down to watch the Aggie band practice. I figured traffic would be bad, I just hadn't accounted for how bad traffic was. I was about to turn around and go home but I couldn't exit until we passed the main accident that was slowing us down. Once we passed the finder bender the road was clear so we continued on to the football field. When we first arrived the band was getting ready to setting up to run through the drills again. The boys didn't know what was going on at first but once the band started preforming they enjoyed it. I was amazed at how many moms and kids were there watching. One of the Garland schools had sent their band to watch the practice. During one of the breaks members of the Aggie band came and spoke to the students. It was really a lot of fun it is making me look forward to this summer to watch the DCI show in Denton. There

I remembered!!

Whoo hoo. I remembered Preston had soccer today. Preston started off class doing really well. Then he just stopped wanting to participate. Since Preston wasn't listening we left class early. Ethan's teacher said that he was so well behaved today. I was super excited to hear that news. After naps Preston was pulling things out of the toy box and found a monkey, he was extremely excited about. Before we headed to swimming we decided to try In-N-Out burger. The wait for the drive thru was only thirty minutes. While we were waiting it didn't really seem like it was that long. We couldn't get the boys to eat their burgers but they loved the shake and fries. Our burgers were good, not really sure it was worth a thirty minute wait, but once the lines are at normal drive thru times we will go back. Happy Birthday Ethan!

Lesson learned: Ethan is the king of guitars. (life according to Ethan) We were woken up at 6:00am to find Ethan in the crib with Preston. The boys were both really cranky this morning, I think Ethan kept them up most of the night playing. We had left Josh's car at swimming so I had to drop him off this morning. Preston was asleep before we got to the swimming school. He seems to be in a better mood since the nap in the car this morning. This is the second time that a hurricane has forced us to have Ethan's birthday inside. The first hurricane was on this first birthday. Josh's mom was in from out of town and we packed bags because we weren't sure if we would be able to drive home from my parents house. My parents even bought a generator just in case the power went out. Several people didn't show up to the party because of it. At least this time the hurricane hit early and we aren't going to have to change plans the day of the party. It just is sad that h
